Emilie Zoé learned everything by herself and started writing her own songs and hanging out in rock shows when she was 18 in Lausanne, CH. She was selected by Two Gentlemen (Young Gods, Sophie Hunger, etc.) to play with Anna Aaron and joined a 130 shows tour in 3 years through Europe and Canada. Aside from touring, she self-produced a first and very personal EP called EMPTY (2013) that she supported with around 50 shows under her own name (Cully Jazz, For Noise, Label Suisse). She currently plays live with drummer Nicolas Pittet (Lee Scratch Perry, Kera, LiA). She wrote together with Nicolas Julliard (Fauve) the title song of RTS show “Anomalia” (2016). Her first full-length is due to may 2016, is called DEAD-END TAPE, was recorded by swiss producer/lo-fi weirdo Louis Jucker, will be released by Hummus Records and Ikarus Records and distributed by Irascible.
